New project
Choose the writing category: it sets the structure, phases and the right AI tools.
Key points
- Each category activates a specific narrative framework.
- You can change the details later from Edit project.
- Fiction, non-fiction, academic, technical and more: pick the one closest to your work.
How guided creation works
Four steps: first the category (fiction, non-fiction, academic, technical, editorial, content, personal, songwriting), then the specific type (40+: novel, memoir, paper, manual, cookbook…), then an optional structural framework and finally the details (title, premise).
Why the category matters
Your choice determines which tools the project activates: fiction enables entities and worldbuilding, academic work enables citations, and each type offers the right frameworks (for a novel, for example, Three Acts, the Hero's Journey, Save the Cat! and more). The framework applies its beats as sections of the project structure.
Can it be changed later?
Title, premise, style and AI settings can be changed at any time from Edit project. The applied framework generates the initial structure, which remains yours: you can reorganize or rename the sections freely.
